Gear check for Titan HM

Hi Guys,

I do not post a whole lot here, but read the forums daily.

I just beat Ifrit and Garuda HM over the weekend and was studying up on Titan. I gather a gear check is a must and want your opinion if what I have so far is enough to tackle Titan?

I think with Defiance up I have around 6495 Hp

You can probably do it... But your party would probably love it if you had some heavy darklight flanchards.

You can definitely do it, there are tricks in titan hm.
During last phase make sure you storms path and inner beast after landslide for the 30% mitigation, cause table flip will always come after a landslide. You want your healers to virus every second landslide for the stomps, but its whatever. Save ur stun to stun in between third and fourth stomp to stop it. You can dodge mountain busters, paladins flash for the blind, you cant do that, but you have featherfoot. For you, there really isnt anything remotely hard if you can manage to mitigate table flips, just have to remember to pop a cd and keep up mitigation after a landslide.

edit: well, just because you can do it doesn't it mean you'll have the healers to be able to do it. DF is a bitch, and premades will probably want another tank, so... I think you should get the DL gear for all the whiny bitches

Imho you should gear up, getting full DL isnt hard, there isnt any cap on phi tomes.
Lvl 45 feet? AF1 body? Come on...
You should get DL armor before DL jewels, the defence upgrade is much higher.

Thanks for the insight so far guys. The darklight flanchards are next on my list and I am about halfway saved up to get them.

Get hoplite body if you can so you can skip the ugly DL top.
Also get AF2 body as soon as you can the defence upgrade is huge.

Worst case scenario, this is your best bet. But as i've found out last night, people will still bitch and wine. For example: I was trying to get an FC member with WAR past titan and we needed to PuG two healers and a dps. The War had a few iLv90 piece and the rest was DL. The Summoner complained becuz he had an Ifrit axe.

Heavy Darklight Flanchards
Hoplite Tabard(AK) or Lord's Cuirass(Pharos Sirius)

So what I understand so far is:

1. What I have now will get me in, and can be done… but I am doing no one any services with some of the gear I still have on.

3. Hoplite Tabard if I can get my hands on it in a AK run. (Drop rates for me have been horrible so far.

On a side note, I wanted so bad to stay away from the DL body piece. The vanity in me did not want to look like a coal train

Exactly.
You already got the i90 head piece so you can definately skip on the DL body.
I think the GC weapon might be slightly better than the rampager. Not sure. Its free anyway.

edit. nevermind the rampager gives you parry, and your accuracy looks fine for Titan
