After such a horrible explanation the Japanese feed exploded. It was quite the waste of time (especially listening to 1 hour of them reading PvP abilities word for word.) (^_^)

I'm actually fine with this. Given the fact that my FC is a little under half of what we need and you can receive up to 20,000 gil with a role bonus a day...between just ten of us we can afford a plot of land within 17 days. and we're a small FC. I can generate roughly 70-120k a day through crafting ontop of that and so can other FC members. Just have to get organized.

20,000g per day. So an FC with 10 members will make 200k a day, the cheapest house on Durandal is 40,000,000 . 40,000,000 / 200,000 = 200 days to obtain the smallest house. 30 days (roughly) in a month, 200/30 = over 6 months to obtain the cheapest house on Durandal.

20,000 per day, the most expensive house is 645,000,000, so it'll only take 32,250 days for that FC to obtain that, or with 100 members, 3,250 days, or with 1,000, a year.

So you'll be lazy and not work on other ways to get money? I make 200-300k a day (Just about every day, sometimes 150k area just depends on what am selling and such)

yer im quite worried about the prices thats been released. on Phoenix a large house is between 80-100 mill. gil which in my opinion is a huge sum. and im worried that this will effectively promote RMT selling since this is one of the only ways to get that amount of gil in a not too distant furture.

but i also dont really get why the deeds cost gil. instead of for example tokens bought for seals or company points so it would be impossible to Earn real money from housing and in that way promote gill selling. i mean at the RMT prices on my server the ppl in my FC (about 100 or so ranging from lvl 1-50) could either do as earlier posts suggests "farm gil for an eternity" or throw 200$ at the problem.

ofcause i dont agree with RMT transactions and i really hate the entire thought of it. but i still find myself tempted. which im sure other ppl are aswell.

I can go mining and stuff but it will just add more pressure to a already oversupplied market.

As everyone mass-levels their DoH and DoL in the hope of generating gil for FC housing, the market boards price for any and all items becomes NPC sell price +6% (to cover tax), thereby making the 20k gil/day earned through battle classes the maximum and most efficient way of increasing wealth.

I like it being expensive. I like how it's not gonna be obtainable for everyone. FC housing is obviously a big thing, something FCs are all gonna -- shock horror -- work together for it. It's not gonna just roll into your hands. You're gonna need to get out there and start making some gil for it. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Probably people sitting around with millions in there account from all the crafting they've done and must have thought, "I have nothing to spend this on." - well, now you do. All that work paid off. As for those grumbling on that it's too expensive/they can't afford it/don't have gil - go start earning gil -.-

I may be biased since I don't give two hoots about FC housing. I'm more excited for personal housing, whenever that may be...

RMT? Understandly bannable, but look at all the gil, clearly we must hold all the servers in judgement.

Some enjoy the aspect of having a place to hang out.

Not to mention they have mentioned plans to allow FCs to have 'building projects' in their homes, like airships. As well as bonuses to crafting and such, all of which I hope will be applicable to the smallest FC houses as well as the larger ones.

I'm gonna laugh at the FC that spends hundreds of millions to get a large house and then after they adjust the prices so the FC's that already bought them get screwed out of potentially hundreds of millions of gil. LMAO!!!!!!
What the hell are they thinking!?!?!??

Nothing wrong with it imo you can pay out loads right now and get it or you can wait and get a discount, now where have i seen that before.......
