How about if it's too expensive for you, don't buy it? What have you lost?
Give it a month or two when it's like 10% of the current price. This is a great gil sink from those with more money than sense and must have it now, now, now!

W00000000000t! EVERY DAY IS PAY DAY!Just by doing the various battle contents.
That is the justification of housing prices given in the Patch Note Reading event.
So per month, each player is expected to earn 600k.
An FC with 20 members would have 12M in a month.
An FC with 100 members would have 60M in a month.
I wonder how long it would take per day to earn 20k in 2.1.
That was one of the main reasons I left WoW...it became work, not play anymore. You log in everyday to repeat the same daily quests and the same dungeons. You either do it, or be shut out of half the content available to players.

even now in an hour of grinding out leves so they don't cap on me i can make around 4-5k in trash (more on some items if i bother to check their market prices) and 30-50k+ on the items im trying to get outta them, (with crafting, without would be 1/3 just selling the mats) 20k a day is very reasonable even in the current system, and well have to see how this changes come 2.1.
With that said I am hoping they do keep a close eye on legacy servers in regards to the housing costs though and actively monitor them. Not to be confused with "everyone" should have a big ass house though. It will be interresting to see how they go about this for sure though ^^;
Yeah. Pretty much everything in WoW is gated behind massive gold sinks. Even the 'rep' mounts during WOTLK cost you near 2k gold, with some mounts costing 20k. Got worse in Pandaland with the 'Black Market AH'.
It actually differs a lot to WoWs dailygrind. While yes, at its core you are doing a repeatable quest for money, WoW dailys tend to have no story elements to them. Just: hey uhhh kill that and gather this. And have 25 gold.
Yoshi stated that the Beastmen dailys will be a way for us to uncover lore on the Beastmen in general. Not only Lore, but Gil is a bonus, and you also get Tomestones from it. So its more like alternative content, rather than a second job you need to do every day in order to afford anything, like WoWs dailys are.
They could also be used as a valid Lore reason to let us have playable beastmen in future.
I make roughly 7 - 8k Gil per AK run, thanks to people who ignore chests and rush to bosses. And i need to do AK 8 times to cap my Myths. Which equates to 64k Gil just capping Myths. When i'm farming for ToP instead, the money is just icing, then i can sell the Tome mats for more.
And thats without even touching crafting. I tend to blow a LOT of cash on teleports and kitting up my alt Jobs for leveling though, lol.

Ooo let's grind beast tribe reputation...lame
so basically yoshi expecting every fc member to give all their hard earned gil for housing every damn day ?
hey i am not leading a real life company where they have to work everyday and i pay them at the end of month...
they need to repair their gear, they need to buy a better gear, they need to buy material etc and the most important thing is they have Life to attend

Lore isn't much of a feature when you are repeating the same quest over and over, it just means "Dailies with more text in them."It actually differs a lot to WoWs dailygrind. Seems you don't read, do you, SE have stated the price will NEVER fall below 50% and that's THREE MONTHS after a plot launches in the auction.
