I agree with op. I don't care what kind of housing it is, I don't want it given out to us like almost all the other content has been. This is a good time sink and should take more than 3 months to accomplish. Sure it will be faster for the few that are rich, and the ones that know how to make gil but that is the way it should be.

That the thing that most peoples don't understand. When you sell items in the market, you just regulate the original amount of gil in the server. You do know that in the world the governments need to print new money every years to push the development of the market right ? It is the same in the game if there is no new gil pour into the game, the economic of the game will be dead. And unfortunately thanks to Fate - you can easily to level up and obtain GC items and AF - then such easy way to obtain tombs who need to do leves or guildhest to earn gil.

My solution is easy I want everyone to have an FC house, and a personal house. This is a game that's supposed to be fun and grinding for money is neither difficult or fun. Housing doesn't affect your gear, how good you are at running dungeons, how much pvp stuff you have, it's just cosmetic and fun for FC's to hang out in.

I think we should all be able to afford, with some effort, the largest plot of land. If you are that dead set on stopping people from having something that'll make their game more fun and not affect yours I think you need to take a long hard look at yourself. Let people have fun with their friends in an mmo.

Back in 1.0, leves gave out 100-150k gil per leve. I made 15 million gil just on leves ALONE. I sold trash to NPCs and had everything I made with crafting I used instead of sold. So, 99% of that 15 mil was doing leves every day.

SE nerfed gil in ARR, even with the denomination. Now leves are only worth a few thousand instead of 100k+

Nobody expected to get the best house so easily. Everyone expected it to be affordable and accessible to all according to the statements from the developers who made the housing feature. Sadly, that's less of a convenient strawman meme to spread.

I believe FC housing should be somewhat easy, and THEN when personal housing comes out, THAT be the luxury you have to grind your ass for. So many people were hyped for this, just to get a middle finger from SE.

No, personal housing should be more accessible, and include some form of storage. FC housing is prestige stuff for many who contribute. Personal housing is convenient stuff for people who aren't lazy. I bet large personal housing won't exceed 15 million on a large plot (at least for my server, where large FC is 100-125 mil).
