bad attempt to force people to play different classes.

bad attempt to force people to play different classes.
I get why they did it but I really don't think this should have been the way to get people to use a party of all the different jobs. I can already forsee some terrible penalties in just about every duty finder (As if we weren't already penalized enough for bad party composition in fights like ifrit and titan).

Tell them to GTFO!
I think we should wait and see how much slower the limit break charges with duplicate classes. Its not like they said "When you bring 2 of the same class no limit break for you!"

I'd also like to see just how much difference there is to the rate of LB gain. I'm kinda inclined to think this is a sledgehammer to crack a nut, class stacking is nowhere near the issue it was in 1.0.
Oh boy guys! I can't wait to be punished for taking 2 bards to rotate Silences in Turn 1 and Turn 2!
Maybe we can get the 2 plds to rota- D'OH!...
Okay how about Monk! Their silence is reliable right? They can use it every- errr.....
Hmm...

Only need one Paladin and one Bard to rotate silence on ADS. Do it all the time.
Also: Monk can reliably silence every High Voltage, he just has to give up a lot of dps to do it.
First off, no one knows just how much more slowly limit break will fill now when there are duplicate classes. If it's something ridiculous like 3x slower, then feel free to complain then. Secondly - provided that SE hasn't derped - this is a "two sides of the same coin" issue, and you're choosing to look at it from the negative side. You either diversify your party as much as possible, or you don't and you build up a slower limit break as a result. There is a clear trade-off here. No one is forcing you to use anything because the majority of content does not strictly require limit breaks to complete.

Usually when you encourage class diversity you balance classes.
No one is going to ditch ideal group make-ups or skilled players for the sake of a faster limit gauge. It's a terrible incentive and a pointless punishment. Are we going to have the absurd situation where we reject 2 pld tanks even though they are geared and skilled players ready to play? This is not to mention the fact that you can't control composition in DF groups, getting a penalty for something you can't control.
Snakes on twintania is the only situation I can think of at the moment that you really want a level 3 limit gauge for anyway.
