My guess is that it's a devious plan by Yoshi to get rid of all the money the rich players have and then the prices will be changed in a month. People aren't going to suddenly learn how to make 100 million and with a lot less currency in circulation it's going to be even harder to make money. 300 mil for the most expensive of expensive houses (after 90 days of price cuts) is still going to be too high for anyone that doesn't have the money for the release price.

I think I like the house price, it may be too high, but it will force player to use the leves quest or guildhest. Seriously I seen few people actually doing leves quest, most of only level up by Fate. We're suppose to do leves quest to earn money; but thanks for the fast exp; people can just skip all the leves, gil and go straight to tombs for i70; i90 equips.

I agree with those high prices. On the big houses. But it would be nice if a nice small FC could pay for a nice small house. Luxury should be a truelly a luxury. But small houses shouldn't really be... Ridiculous. On the other hand, this might change the economy. Im curious

Leves, huh? You must think dem leves are a gold mine, eh?
    Let's see...
A single character generates 6 leve allowances per day.
Assuming you don't want to use them for DoH/DoL classes, you can do 6 Battlecraft leves. Currently, you can receive ~500 gil for completing one level 45 battlecraft leve, making it ~3,000 per day.
Let's be generous here and say that instead of the likely 20-25% increase, leve rewards are getting doubled in 2.1 allowing players to reach "astounding" 6k gil per day farming those.

You're on Balmung, so the smallest possible FC house in the worst possible plot costs 20 mil.
Your FC counts 42 members, so you'd need to chip in a little under 500k each to purchase the outhouse of your dreams. Which equates to merely 79 days of doing leves for each of you.

    Wow, effectiveness/profitability is OVER9000... Not.

So tell me. How did you earn gil in this game ? Selling items ? are you really that idiot ? Leves are the gold mine in this game. With no one doing leves there will be no gil pour into the game. And stop being a creep little stalker.

p/s: It's : "Over 8000" try to learn to read the correct information.

Balmung's economy is already starting to crash as people are starting to sell everything in a last ditch attempt to afford the lovely and tiny piece of land situated next to that over used and never emptied port-a-potty.

All this will do is push those with stupid amounts of gil to RMT it and those who are desperate for a house to buy it.

Absolutely stupid. I have no desire to ask my FC to make themselves freaking miserable to do this.

It's laughable that they reduced transportation costs and repair bills but then released this. Since when has housing EVER been a hardcore player thing?

Housing in any game I have ever played not a hardcore status quo thing. Sure there were levels of buy in but at least the smaller guilds could afford something. Were not even talking personal housing yet. Were saying flat out that on some worlds even with a FC of 20 or more individuals that the prices are too high. Not for a laughable month of farming gil but for some it would be a year or 2 or more to get the required amount of gil. Some FC just do not have the same money making opportunities as others. Thats ok but that should not exclude them from something. This pricing scheme IMO excludes more that 95% of the real player base in favor of the smaller super rich. Even some of the super rich are not warming to these prices.
