For once, we are actually getting a real challenge in the game that is not obtainable by 99 percent of the playerbase. I am glad SE makes you feel this is impossible because so far it has all been a cakewalk. Honestly, they got it the wrong way around. Relics should have costed 8 mil, not houses. You know, relics costed 100+ mil in FFXI, and Mythic weapons were over 300++ mil. Houses are clearly going to be a luxury item, not a casual reward you get from grinding dungeons or defeating 3 easy bosses. Hope you guys understand and stop crying about RMT and having things become hard. Boo hoo.... Get with the program and learn about past MMOs that were actually challenging for once. This is a huge plus for the FFXI veterans.

How much gil are you donating to your 135 person FC, Devilray? What ways are you making that gil? I see you have a L10 Armourer, at the very least. Are you making all your gil from DRG/PLD/SMN/SCH? Are you donating as much as the other people in Hellion? I'm curious as to the system you're using, because I'm in a FC with people who have a lot of crafts at 50 but not enough gil to push for a large house despite having the 51st largest FC on our world.

Your post actually really confuses me, you seem to agree that they got it the wrong way around and immediately afterwards you say that housing being expensive is something we should stop crying about. Just a little perplexed and confused. D=

No, I've been saving since launch, and I know others have, too. ^^; This is probably the reason that there is so much gil "in circulation" in the first place!

You want FFXIV to not be casual. I agree, make bosses harder, make endgame gear more difficult to obtain. But housing? Come the fuck on, housing is probably the most casual content, it shouldnt be that grindy to obtain, especially in a Legacy server. What about the non Legacy players who joined a Legacy server? they wont be able to afford even the smallest house.
You mention FFXI. In FFXI you had a mog house for fucking free, and it was almost the same size as the small house (which cost 20M in my server).
