Really? Reactions to the patch.

Most people I know, as of a month or so ago, were looking forward to two things in particular: Crystal Tower with 23 friends and FC Housing.

Most people I know, as of last night, are not able to do either of these two things for the foreseeable future. Essentially the cornerstones of this patch were hyped up and them slammed down face first into the concrete ground when they found out about the reality of everything.

They're still looking forward to the other stuff, but SE kept teasing them about how awesome thist stuff was going to be and it's understandable that when you advertise a product people are already buying as "includes FC Housing, 24 man content" that people will be gutted when they find out they can't afford FC housing and they are unable to do that 24 man content with more than seven of their friends (and they can already do that with other dungeons).

Change makes people scared. Always has, always will.

The irony in this is that they were looking forward to change, and then they didn't get it.

Exactly this, at the moment there is very little actual in game content to bring an FC together the first blow was crystal tower not being able to make a full FC group. The Housing (i'm on a legacy server) was just another slap in the face...

The other updates are awesome, mind, but until we actually get them there isn't much to talk about so...
