HM Titan Weapon/shield buffed to ilvl 80

I wouldn't have thought that Titan items would ever be better than the relic +1, considering they are only ilvl80, although I presume they will be competitive with the standard relic item, (better for some jobs, worse for others). However considering that you are guaranteed the relic weapon for beating Titan, unless you happen to already own the Titan weapon, I wouldn't say it was worth taking any time to get in situations where Titan weapon > Relic.

Anybody who cares about the secondary stat differences, will likely care enough to prioritise the relic+1 as an upgrade (or own the allagan weapon).

Only exception might be for BRDs, which I don't play and admit I don't know anything about - but I hear their relic +1 is rather lacklustre compared to their standard relic and not a priority, but i'll let someone who knows BRDs to weigh in on that.

I think PvP weapons will be useless in PvE cause they will probably have morale on them.

Weapon damage is king in this game. While they may only be a stopgap for PvE players, they would be far from worthless. Likely one stat will take up the spot of something like Parry/Determination/ and instead be Morale. The weapon will likely have Vitality in the least.

I'd say it's very likely that you can, the only problem with them would be that you can rest pretty assured they will have the pvp stat on them, so they'll be missing a stat in pve compared to pve weapons.

Beat me to it lol. Though depending on what the other stats are, it may not be "useless." I'd be willing to lose a few points in a secondary stat to have a cooler looking weapon, but that's just me though.

Academic, probably. I bet you nobody but ilvl90 statics will have a prayer of clearing those. Look at requirements: average ilvl of 70. Titan will require a mere average of 57, and a group full of players meeting only the requirement is likely to fail. I expect the bare-minimum for Ifrit Extreme to be full ilvl90 equipment with ilvl70 melded accessories. Maybe relic+1 for second jobs will be replaced by primal weapons, but you'd have to luck into them as drops from your static, and if you're not that hardcore, then you can shove it.

You're right. Even better, they're unavailable to any job who can't complete the content, meaning few players without a relic+1 can get them. Vanity gear, go!

I highly doubt you will need Relic Zenith (Gotta get used to calling them this now... Nah, screw it, +1) for the extreme primal fights, with maybe the exception of Ifrit seeing as how it may very well be a DPS race on the nails. Of course, we'll still see shouts, "LFG Garuda Extreme, must have full iLv90 gear!"
