Why shouldn't FC housing be for everyone? There are a lot of people that don't want to be in 500 person FCs, our FC has 42 people. We should waste 10 million gil to buy the equivalent of a single person mog house from XI? How is that even remotely "fun"?

Really? Are you kidding me? FC HOUSING IS AN ACHIEVEMENT!! Just because you and you FC has to put in effort TOGETHER to achieve something such as gil towards housing while the price is dropping over time we're going to argue its not open to everyone? f'en really?

This is not a casual or hardcore argument. The only thing they have asked for is a serous effort by everyone in your FC to achieve a goal rather just those fews people who took tim to level a crafter or gathering to cover themselves.

But no its not a hand me down so its apparently impossible for everyone to get.

The main issue with this is that you actually need to do the content hundreds of times in order to start toying with housing.

Content to achieve (even difficult ones) = Yeah ok.
Content which has to be repeated hundreds of time in order to unlock a goddamn game feature = Not fun at all= Go to hell, I'll go spend my IRL money on some other game.

In most modern games getting the field to build the house is quite cheap (and even free in some cases) and most of the content consists in getting the furnitures/materials to build stuff. Basic materials are cheap and you must work hard to get the high end materials. In FFXIV case the actual content of housing (eg getting materials/furniture and putting them together in your house) is gated through money (I really don't understand how people can actually find that enjoyable/fun).

As an avid crafter and gatherer, I disagree completely. Remove Gil from the game and I'd actually cancel my subscription right away, a MMOs economy is a major part of the experience for me.

Good luck on selling stuff if the housing prices remains the same as they are now. The impact on the economy should be major.

your reply does nothing to change its a straw man argument that should be dismissed. If you dislike that way things are that much then you and a few other should just unsub. the vocal minority can go on believing it was right and the rest of us will still be playing

I actually didn't wait your reply and already did it. But my decision is more based on the let down of 24 players raids by SE.

Give my opinion any name, it doesn't change the fct that the current housing system is plain unfun and retarded.
