when the community will decide the lockout is communism and they're exporting democracy bombarding the forum with this topics ? I hope never, because i'm already bored to dead with the current ones.

People wanted this when they started running coil, go back and look at all the posts of people wanting to go back and run coil, and just be locked on loot so they could help their Friends out, so they give us content with what people were asking for, and those people start to whine about getting what they asked for.
As I read it, it sounded like Treasure Maps were one every 18 hours to get one from gathering. If you buy the maps from other people you can do them all day long. Possible I read it incorrectly, though.
Treasure Hunting restriction doesn't really affect people in FC if 5-6 people have 50 Gathering classes, that's 5-6 maps.
I also stated that this would be fine if a full fc group could go.People wanted this when they started running coil, go back and look at all the posts of people wanting to go back and run coil, and just be locked on loot so they could help their Friends out, so they give us content with what people were asking for, and those people start to whine about getting what they asked for.
A full Free Company group can go, you just can't make a full alliance, and if your company is made up of people that won't help out because they already got their loot for the week, and helping others would force them to have to group with "randoms" then that seems to be more of a problem with the people in your free company.
You can only *gather* one map per 18 hours. You can get more from other people who will probably try to sell them. While that's true, the restrictions presented in ARR are a bit insane. 1 Treasure map every 18 hours and 1 loot per week in Crystal Tower are a bit over the top. The extreme primal restriction, beastmen daily quests, and coils restriction are fine and make sense, however.
This so got damn much. I wish I can like this more times. These lockouts are getting worse at every turn. I know SE is allowing us to play their game but the lack of freedom is sufficating<sp?>.....Seeing people with the Allagan Tunic of Healing makes me mad. If only I could run T4 until I got it, but I have to rely on luck.
I can see it... February, T4 being a weekly chore that I'm sick of doing as healer, but still doing it hoping that it will drop. I usually play thinking about loot first, but that's the only item I want in the whole game. Not being able to have it thanks to lockouts (not even difficulty, as I found Titan much harder) is demotivating enough for me consider quitting.
Actually: from the dude from independence day: "There is something mister president, called plausible denial ability " : There are systems that work way better then restrictions that can slow the game play down. While there updating or catching up to the players desires. Most mmos nowdays use these functions now with a nuke,. Grinding, random casino drops, mellow updates, insane updates, harder fights progressions, progression gear, unique gear same levels different looks, grinding tokens, dungeons progressions, end game raids that pull your hair out and cause drama, Stuff like mythology stones are so last 2 years ago and dungeon lockouts.
It's not a good idea. right now a lot of players pay the subscription fees just to do 10 WP run and a Coil run per week. then they have to do something else.
