Cheapest land for housing = 4 mil, legacy = 8 mil

This is what selling all those Titan HMs has caused. FCs will millions of gil banked from carrying people. . I'm so glad I earned my relic and was able to invest that gil in my own FC instead of funding some other FC. It's just too bad that the damage has been done. At least the price drop every few hours will help.

Think for a second, because what you say makes absolute no sense.

If you, me and another guy is in 3 different FC's and we have 3mil between us (1m each), if we all go buy a Titan run for 1m each and give 1 fc 3m which will be spread out, its still 3m.... nothing changed, it just moved hands, so it has zero effect on the economy...

Just like Titan sells (which went from as high as a million gil down to 100-200k), housing will start high for those with more money than patience, but a few months down the line I doubt inaccessibility will be an issue anymore. Supply and demand. This is all really simple economics. If everyone has 1 dollar, but one person has 2 dollars, and I have something everybody wants, the price is going to be 2 dollars. But when my supply of that item increases, and everyone else still has 1 dollar, the price will drop to 1 dollar.

On point 1. Check the last 5 live letters or any of yoshis responses to sever transfers. He said so many times that the economy must be balanced before transfers happen.But that they would happen at around half a year into the game. Which is coming up 2.2 and if you noticed the enconomys are still very different. How do you balance out this massive amount of gil...idk maybe you increase the only real gil sink ie housing.

On point 2. I wont say so in chat as its against the rules but I will explain to you in vent what went on and give you source information, and go as far as to teach you a bit about sql if you would like to learn. I have a Masters in computer science concentration in information systems( I teach a class at the university here i will give you info in vent if you would like to sit in)

On point 3. The markets are over flowing with more goods than the users can buy supply is far greater than demand due to rmt overflooding market. Housing only provides fuel to this fire. As higher prices encourage users to buy more gil it in turn encourages rmt to flood the market.

I don't think it will be an easy 1 to 2 weeks. To get the house price cheap enough and my money up enough will be closer to a year. Starts out 8mil how much you think it will go down in a months time? maybe 7mil? Im needing to be able to afford a house for my FC @ the 3 to 4 mil price. When can I see that price?

@Viion ' please forgive my words. I wasn't just referring to myself but I am the one buying the house for my FC. We all chipped in.

Edit: Now I find that it won't even be 7mil. Nope if I am lucky the house plot will be 20mil gil after 90 days. My FC is small. Not many members but it's family and friends and we enjoy each others company. FC house was a dream we wanted to share. Now it's dead.

You're joking, right? No money was taken from v1. There was a redenomination. Our gil went down to 10% of what we had, but all prices, rewards, fees, everything, went down to 10% of v1 prices, too. Without that redenomination, housing/land prices would be required to be 10x whatever they set now. Think of it as 100 old gil = 10 new gil. SE exchanged our old gil for new gil.

I believe that's the point? Gil sinks, remove gil from the economy. Legacy servers will have more gil. And more plots of land will be bought up than non-legacy servers. Which means more amounts of gil are removed. As that rush is finished, the next rush happens, etc. I wager the rush on legacy servers will be greater than non. And the amount of gil removed will be greater in proportion to those rushes. It will probably take longer on legacy servers for the prices to drop than non. That's where it will start seeing a small tickle of change in economies. Having the housing prices the same across all servers wouldn't do this, especially if it's set to low. I'm not going to sugar coat it, even my FC underestimated the plot of land costs. We're going to have to work on raising Gil, because we want a house for our FC. We probably won't be part of the first rush though, which is fine, we'll do our damnest to get it for our members as soon as possible though.

This is where I'll have to call BS. Until you can provide some evidence of SE not doing anything and just sitting on their hands letting people go nuts. This game would be doing much worse. And no need to educate me on SQL, and I'm right there with you on experience and education. 23 years in the field so far and counting, and it's not limited to just technology. If we want to puff up our chests, I work with the largest companies on this globe setting standards for architecture, networks, coding practices, etc.. Do we really need to do this? This is just silly. It's one thing to assume SE is doing something/nothing it's another proving they are doing something/nothing. I simply ask you to provide something where SE is totally ignoring what you claim. That's what I want to be educated on.
