Premade PvP teams must have tank/healer/dps? (Patch preview)

From the patch preview. So if I form a party of four i'm still stuck in the tank/healer/dps/dps party composition? I thought it was said that we could use any composition we wanted if we went with a premade.

Huh... interesting.. Might mistype? I remember them saying we can set up whatever we want for premade.
But perhaps they mean when you que with 2 people not full group, that it have to follow the set up? Since it did said "1-3" Number of Participants ?

Probably to prevent people just class stacking in arenas and make the fights more balanced. Can't say I'm that bothered personally.

if they demand the party composition to be the 'norm' it would mean waiting forever for a pvp match to pop up, which can be quite frustrating

I remember this from the live letter too but the preview on the lodestone doesn't seem to mention this and I am a bit wary that they won't allow us to do freestyle matching for a while. I wouldn't expect much from this point.

You misunderstood.

Premades will be paired up against premades. DF PUGs vs PUGs.

Both must follow the standard party format.
