Can´t get the Rank 5 Subscription reward at the 2.1 release?

I think you misunderstand. The issue is that those with Legacy bonus time and/or those who have already subbed for 180 days are unable to acquire the Rank 5+ veteran rewards until some time later because of the 180-day cap they have in place.

Example: I have subscribed for 180 days. The soonest I could acquire the rank 5 reward is 90 days into my subscription, and to do so I would have to cancel my 180-day recurring sub and replace it with a 90-day recurring. Personally, I find it a bit silly and annoying.

I wasn't 'misunderstanding' anything, I was replying to the posts that said/implied people who paid for a specific amount of time MORE than the rewards already in game would not have that EXTRA time counted for them, which SE stated is not the case.

considering I had the 2 weeks 1.0 extra and registered the ps3 version, I really don't need you telling me there's a 'problem' with getting the 270 days right away, I however also stated that I think that the VETERAN rewards should be handed out for actually being a veteran, and not for 'chunking out a lot of money at once'.

(ps: you're also talking to someone who went the 180 days route)

I guess I just thought ahead. I think the information was right on the mogstation home page when I first had to sub. "More veteran rewards will release with patch 2.1!!!" I saw that, and saw they only had rewards for 90 days at the time, so that's all I subbed for. I had a good feeling I would play longer than that, but at the time it didn't make much sense to sub for longer than that. I still got lucky, because I had no idea I couldn't just add more time whenever I wanted until I had already paid for the 3 months. I'll be able to get the 270-day reward in the beginning of January

So that's the worst. The players that went all-in with the 180 day sub off the bat will have to wait the longest for the veteran's rewards.
