If they are going to have a lockout in CT it should be a per boss lockout so people aren't inclined to leave after they get an item. That way you can kill all 4 bosses.

Run 1: I get my item from final boss.
Run 2: I get nothing from first 3 bosses, ditch.
This wouldn't solve the problem. Nothing CAN solve the problem because people are jerks and will do whatever they can behind the anonymity of the internet.
Just because you can doesn't mean you will. CT is designed so that you will get an item every week if you put the time into it. CT is designed so that you might if the gods are on your side, it drops, and you roll high.broad assumption
because the Devs made it that way and your unhappy automatically makes your opinion invalid (because your opinion is part of the minority)
I understand the logic but the fact of the matter remains. I can obtain more loot in coil which i90 and has a 1 week lock out while CT gives i80 and has a 1 week lock out on loot
its plain bad design
Where you see bad design I see a fair way to make lower tier raids worth doing for alts, and take up a decent amount of time for most people.
You can, I can, not everyone can. This gives them a little extra boost, and that's okay.
You can't stop people from being jerks when they are anonymous. No matter what the system was, they would still do it.

but for what when clearly with i70 gear you can do Turn 1-4 and Myth gear granting you a piece every week coming patch 2.1
people can completely ignore CT.
The problem is they are locking gear that isn't amazing for the sake of prolonging the content which is a lame excuse.
Now we have a dungeon where half your party will drop when you clear a specific boss (they didn't win lot, their item didn't drop or they got it and they don't care for the rest)
Great design

doesn't matter when ilvl70 is all you need to do anything in the game.

It's actually a rule, btw.

I would totally be cool with a short lockout on CT to prevent people from going crazy running it 30 times a day and gearing out 7 jobs in two weeks. Something like 2-3 days would have been totally reasonable, and would have kept me (and others) making forays into CT throughout the week, but not enough to get completely sick of it.
But a single piece per week is total bullshit and a really cheesy way of trying to extend the life of the content.

I made an argument similar to this and was met with selective reading, all I got was u don't like CT or u don't do any content or this and that I think a lock out on CT is stupid, between the time cap and coil lock out if I had to gear my upcoming alts plus my main it would be months still and I think that's stretching it pretty good. But Se wants your money and people will come on here saying stupid trolling things lol
loot lockout per class is what they shouldve done.

No, it's a rule.
EDIT: Forgot to add, while your comment about "disk space" was likely sarcasm, the reason for the rule has little to do with disk space.Welcome to Forum: General Discussion!
