I agree, there should be a lockout. Once you make more than 20 posts on the forums, you're blocked from making any more till next Monday @ 4PM.

I'm pretty sure that complaining about a new thread beating a dead horse is actually its own dead horse by now.

That said, I still wish people would stop pointing at CT's lockouts and talk about it like it's indicative of the 'future' of the game or the direction SE's taking with it. CT was supposed to have been in the game at launch, lockouts and all. There's no reason to lift Coil's lockouts after CT hits, because CT isn't additional content, it's not even content that takes place after Coil in terms of progression.

Then again, I've already posted this several times before, so I guess that too is a dead horse... Well, I AM my own club after all... *hits head against horse*

I think lockouts are fine if it's every few days. A week is way too long.

Also, the only thing that can kill the game is SE themselves shutting down the servers. As long as the servers are up and running, the game is not dead. Might be dead to some people, but the people that keep playing, they will chug along like normal.

People have been saying the same stuff about FFXI for years and it's still running just fine with a healthy playerbase. I wouldnt worry about any internet doom and gloom predictions.

Yeah, you're right. There a ton of things I hate about this game, but I don't blindly white knight a game that has obvious problems.

I make sure the problems are known by /everyone/ so that they can be addressed.

Agreed with OP. Glad lockout exist to keep you guys from complaining about hows there's not enough content after getting full myths in weeks.

Instead they complain about how there's not enough content after capping myths on monday. That's so much better...
