I agree completely. Drops or no drops, I would love to be able to help multiple groups in my FC on coil.

It doesn't matter, without lockouts, people would just spam until they got what they wanted and still burn through the content just as fast.

True, It's actually good from a business point of view by SE. We need to keep our monthly sub because we MUST login 1x per week minimum. Where as if people just stream rolled through it, stopped sub, then just waited till the next patch to do it all over again. So from SEs PoV, it's pretty damn good for them.

What I can't wrap my mind around is why someone would continue to pay 15 dollars a month to log in once a week for 2 hours. I can only assume these people bought 90, 180 day subs and are stuck.

I don't understand this. I'm about to have full ilvl90 on my paladin, then I'll start working towards my warrior and since I have coils/myth acc gear, it won't take that long to gear out. Meanwhile my Dragoon will get gear from CT.

Thats 3 classes I'll have pretty decked out in a short period of time! Also I will be doing PvP and with all of that I'm more than happy.

Too many people who think they can't use a job in endgame unless they're geared out in the absolute best possible gear...Coil was not balanced to require Coil gear to clear. I see this stupid attitude both here AND in XI where people shout for people for content and require they have the gear that drops from said content or even gear from a higher tier of content (see relic shouts for CM runs).

Since what I like in MMOs is to tank, I don't plan on levelling those yet. Lancer I'm doing for PvP. Maybe next will be arcanist, but by the time I get it to 50 I will have a lot of myth gear on my warrior so that I can dedicate some myth to SCH maybe…

Either way having 3 classes geared out in 4 months or so from release beats all the other MMOs I've played where I stick to a character and maaaaaybe level up another, but neglect to gear it out.

Being that I am a Legacy player and still have plenty to do I can only assume that the people you are talking about rushed through the content or simply aren't playing through all of it as I still have plenty to do in game even now, let alone with 2.1 coming out, and I log in way more than 1 night a week for 2 hours.

I didn't rush. I played 1.0.

Which is why you got a MAJOR headstart from everyone else. I started over, because I knew this was going to be a new game. ( Not to claim to have something to do or whatever that some people think). and new games generally don't hold alot of Endgame.

I don't like lockouts, but I understand why they are there. Once the game has a hefty amounts of content, this Lockouts should be eased or removed altogether.
