Well 1st of all gratz on the loot, pretty lucky indeed. But I have a problem with your build and here is why. I see so many monks that stack crit and determination. and barely hit the hit cap of 472. Yet everybody seems to forget about the fact that monks also need the skill speed cap of 491. This is so your twin snake last through out your full rotation aswell as getting your GL stacks to 3 as fast as possible without using perfect balance. I hear alot of complaints from monks saying their GL wares of to fast, but they then just lack the skill speed. So on my monk I would never use the t5 chest. only the weapon because it gets buffed in 2.1 but I will need to balance out to get 491 skill speed and 472 acc. im using eft steak to get there. just some tips I guess. but again gz on the twintania loot.

Totally untrue. You don't need 491 SS. SS should be minimized as much as possible for best performance. The most you need is about 430~440 to maintain GL in rotation. To most new monks it seems logical (I certainly did at first ) that SS is important, but once to understand how it performs, you will soon realize it is least valued of your sub stats.

You don't need any skill speed at all for monk except for the base skill speed they already have. Stacking skill speed will only make you run out of tp quicker w/ a hell of a lot less crit rate and determination than the BiS gear. The BiS set for Monk gives a minimum of an unavoidable +32skill speed. Favoring the AF2 body over the Allagan Body is just lulz.

Point is, a good monk can keep up Twin Snakes while rotating True Strike in w/o a high amount of skill speed. I'm sitting at 385 skill speed and can comfortably fit in True Strikes while keeping up Twin Snakes buff for the upcoming Twin Snakes.

How much more str would you have if you were highlander? Other than the fact they look ridiculously idiotic I believe that would be the only way you could improve your build, no? Grats btw !

Highlanders have the highest Strength out of any other race.
Or is that question towards me? If so, +2 Stength
