How do you deal with a rude player in DF?

I really hope the vote kick system will solve these issues, but for now, what can I do? Just take the insults?

I usually rage out on the offender whether he/she is rude to me or someone else. If he/she continues the rudeness, then I go AFK and watch porn until they leave.
