Since Silencing does not have diminishing return I just silence for the hell of it, nothing can go wrong when someone else misses his silence for whatever reason.
Plus if I go all out as monk I get aggro so might aswell be useful while holding back.

For the record, turn 1 ADS and turn 2 lesser nodes all have a recast timer of exactly 25 seconds. The main boss ADS of turn 2 has a recast timer of exactly 20 seconds. High voltage is always prioritized above other abilities, with the exception of the additional skills the ADS obtains under 75% health. This means you can expect a high voltage cast within a second or two of the recast timer. Hope this helps
One other note, you can set up the ACT parser to keep track of and display timers for any ability or buff, including high voltage
People still bother silencing on Turn 2?!?
(Our latest 'normal' FC run found 2x PLD to be the smoothest way despite all the dodging and hate-swapping going on at the same time. BRDs kept having mysterious "lag" or "misses" at inopportune moments and there's only one Monk main in the entire FC...)
Yeah, this isn't an issue any more now that we have a proper static set up with 2 PLDs and a BRD. For the record I did manage alternating silences on ADS when I had to, but I'm more than aware of the fact that Monks should always be a last resort to Silence duty :P
Sure you can ignore the mechanics that way but it takes way too long to wait until the last click.People still bother silencing on Turn 2?!?

By that time you have turn 2 and 3 cleared.
For a static run, sure! Depends on the team though.
(Was in a Turn 2 PUG tonight that took 11 minutes just to clear the three minibosses...) -.-
