    Yea, the misunderstanding here is whether this being "150% of what is now" or "increased by 150%".

    So, don't know how official it is but I scoured for that tidbit and found, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...s!-2.1-and-2.2 which I think originated it.

    - Dungeon EXP increased by 150% from base EXP. On top of that you can put random roulette bonus + rest bonus. About 3x more than now.
    The phrasing is weird.

    The "about 3xmore than now" implies to me it is +150% or 2.5x times now and the roulette + rest will give you another 50% or 3xtime the amount now. If you have a static group it might be faster than fates but if you still have to wait 40+min as a dps, i'm still going to do fates.

    The way I read that is if we were to get 10,000 for killing 100% of all mobs in a dungeon before. We would now get 15,000 exp. Thats a 150% increase.

    While the % thing is iffy, 3x boost is clear as day.

    That's not a 150% increase. It's a 50% increase.

    If the statement really was "Dungeon EXP increased by 150% from base EXP", then it's an INCREASE of 150% which is actually 2.5x. The statement basically says BASE XP + 150%.

    I am happy with this.

    10,000 X 100% = 10,000
    10,000 X 150% = 15,000

    10,000 + 100% = 20,000
    10,000 + 150% = 25,000

    150% from Base is an Additional amount. so it would be 25,000 for each 10,000 we get now. Which will make it better then Fate grinding which is the intent. 15,000 would be a joke and keep Fates as the better source for leveling.

    From my experience, when I was at-level with a new dungeon, one run usually will bring me into the next level.
    When I'm 1 level short of the next dungeon, however, the closer I am to 50 the more runs I have to do the previous dungeon, up to about 5 I think.

    So the buff would mean that even without rested bonus, we should in general only have to grind the same dungeon up to 5 times before we will be able to go into the next dungeon. This is marvelous.

    I would like to see 150% i.e. 1.5x the xp per mob. BUT... lets up the combo xp meter so that blazing through a dungeon killing everything nets a huge reward.
