They're not. I can out damage our 6pc 90 gear bard on every fight with my normal relic+all 70 BLM.
Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
[QUOTE=Exstal;1645329]I don't know if that's true. FFXI dictates SE isn't too keen on catering to casuals (SMN being trash for years). Catering to hardcore doesn't gain enough money. Only need to mildly keep them interested while making sure to get new players.
Where did you get this info?! FFXI has made SE more money then any other game they have ever made, go look it up.

Bards have the lowest damage output of all the TP users, unless every formula we know is wrong.
Also, here is another dps thread where there are zero parses.
Do yall know how to compare dps with proof?
AKA this thread isn't very helpful to anyone, doesn't answer OP's question, and yea I know I'm also part of the problem D=
But at least I know I'm just a theorycrafter.

Your Bard is bad.
It was in reference to catering to the balance issues that casuals would have encountered. They did something right to make existing players stay and hardcores not completely leave.Where did you get this info?! FFXI has made SE more money then any other game they have ever made, go look it up.
Maybe /shrug. One thing that I find interesting, though, is that it depends on the parser. With the first one I do like 30 DPS more and he does around 10-20 less, leading to upwards of a 50 DPS difference, and with the second we are about even. At least in T1. Need to check that in other fights, too. Then again, when I test against dummies the DPS is about the same for both, maybe a 1-2 difference max.
