PlayStation® Network Maintenance (Dec. 9)

Hey SE Post correct times for this k thanks It is currently 5am PST and Playstations network is currently under Maintenance. Just thought I would let ya know when posting official times to check the info twice :P

thought I could finish up tomes this morning before reset and see this SMH, this is BS and psn players have to be able to connect to psn just to play so im screwed lol........live and learn

Thats great just great, I've spend 20mins swearing at the PS3 and PS europes site trying to find out why I cant sign-in.
Thought I was going mad since the PSN status is listed as "online" yet I can't sign in.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can still play the game if you're not signed on PSN. Well, I can at least. When you're logged in just go to your XMB and sign out. The game will then ask you to sign back in then all you need to do is press cancel and there you have it. Not sure if this applies to maintenance though.

The times are respectively:

9am to 2pm PST
11am to 4pm CST
12pm to 5pm EST

There are a lot of users on the PS forums with the same problem so we're not alone. So far I'm unable to sign into either of my ps3s, ps4, vita, ps phone app(android) and us.playstation.com. Even the psn network status says "online". As usual Sony isn't quick to respond with problems like this and will either address this problem after it's all said and done with or not at all. Oh well. We have no choice but to wait or play on the PC for now lol.

yea that's the problem you can't even sign in at all at the moment! sad thing is sony said af you had been logging in 5 day prior to this maint you should be able to access online gaming (which all require you to sign in to psn) but alas this isn't the case as I have been online all night and today I can't sign in to play T_T
