About the accuracy cap in Coil. I have 431 ACC on my BLM and missed at least one Fire I and one Blizzard 3 in turn 2 over a couple of hours.

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
True. I tried scourging any log files I might've had, but every single one of them showed I did 100 auto attacks and 200 Thunders for a combined damage of 9500 or something bizarre like that. I don't think I can provide anything more valid at this point, and I'm not sure when I can be BLM again for Coil. I'll get back to this, if I have the chance.

thank you!@nostrade - Full darklight or Vanya/Rose Gold set should be able to get you through Turn 1-3 and maybe Turn 4.
Crafted gear will give you a lot more flexibility to mix and match materia pertaining to stats you want but will cost you hefty $$$. Darklight is just straight up selling all your soul grinding for philosophy tomes. They are both similar stats-wise, but crafted gear will pull out ahead by a bit, and you can dye them.
You're definitely going to need Myth/Allagan gear to tackle on Turn 5, though.
Puro,
There is something I have been debating for a while with other BLMs. I always start my rotation with Bliz III, even under full mana just so I can get free Thunder II/III & Fire III at the start of every rotation. My friends, good BLMs, have been arguing that Swift cast Thunder III > Fire III is faster and more DPS. I disagree, I think hard casting Thunder II/III under Ice III is far superior and allow me to save Swift Cast for better use.
What do you think?
Given a situation where you only have 300 mp left and unable to cast any more fire, but you had a firestarter proc from the previous fire cast. Do you solely cast the fire3 proc without any fire1 or go ahead with casting blizzard 3?
Situational really. If you are pressed for time, conflag for example, cast it. Otherwise, what I do is back to Bliz III > Thunder II/III and cast fire III proc at the same time as Thunder is fired.
The prob is the start. while with a good tank sure you may pull it of and things go well but as we gear up even tanks as geared as we are can struggle getting aggro at the start of a fight due to them not being able to make enough agrro for a burst.Puro,

Every time i see a blm other than me do that at the start and pull a mob i just shake my head. heck even hardcasting sometimes is not enough. some blm just do not get the concept of letting the tank gain aggro first.
What? BLM can't tank? Tomfoolery!
