Heh, devs from TERA pulled this, as in the collector's edition lion mount which was supposed to exclusive to collector's edition just got a nice bit of "makeup" thrown on and put out for all players to own as a "new" mount(given they paid the price). Wouldn't put it past SE to pull the same stunt.

This right here. They will probably just make slight changes, give it a new name and now it's not the goobbue mount anymore.

But they have explicitly stated the Goobbue will never be obtainable again if you didn't get it in 1.0. They may bring the drake to us in the same manner as the Magitek Armor though.

You're right, but they never said anything about a Shroud Goobbue or w/e that mount will be called. They specifically said "Goobbue", which is the name of the monster we can mount.

I'm happy we are getting more variety for mounts, but all the different mounts just don't have the same feeling as a good ol' chocobo.

Well the Magitek was used for the same thing and we were able to unlock it. Guess you get them via daily quests.

If you look one is a Gobbue mount and 1.0 players have that mount. I don't know if SE plans to hand out that mount in 2.0 but they handed out previous event items from 1.0. But for now those in the video were just for the beastmode leve quests they maybe put in the future.

That's not the same mount we were given in 1.xx. Look at the top of the Goobbue.
