A. what is the standard payment for melding two materia to a LV 50 weapon? I already have the materia and weapon on hand, but am lacking the requisite level 50 in Blacksmith.

B. How exactly do I go about this? is there a specific interface or something, do I have to trade them the items and then pray to god they don't run off with them?

A. Guess it'll vary server to server, I just ask the customer to throw in a tip they feel is right when they request meld.

B. No items get traded, you go up to the person doing your meld and click request meld choose the materia you want to affix to your weapon then done. Can add gil etc on the actual meld request.

Just yell for a BSM and watch them all send tells, input the Axe and materia and watch them meld it, forgetting to pay them is the most important part.

A blade never changes hands without money. Bad luck will follow the person and the blade. also, not paying someone for a service is just a dick move in general, curse or not.
