I'm... sorry to break it to you, but the 1.0 Armorer quests didn't actually feature a siren.
What it featured was a bunch of rebellious girls, a cutting-edge piece of audio-amplification technology known as a gramophone stolen from Mimidoa, and a lot of siren-related paranoia on the part of the sailors.
Very few people know what a siren actually sounds like, because you normally don't return to tell the tale. When Mimidoa asks you what the "sirens" sounded like on the first voyage with "siren-warding flutes", he puts two and two together and subversively enlists your help. You then join him as he storms the island to reprimand a bunch of girls who have been holding large, loud parties, inciting fear in the local sailors - sailors who come to misguided conclusions about what that singing could possibly be.
The dude is a master of sound-amplification.
You are however correct to say that it is one Siren among many. But each Siren is deadly and mighty in its own right, capable of bringing a mortal to their knees by the power of its enchanting voice.
