Unless I somehow missed part of the spell description, I don't see why this would be true. While it doesn't allow them to go below 1 HP, it also doesn't allow them to die and it doesn't reduce the Warrior to 1 HP.

Why can't people play the classes they enjoy rather than what's the best?

My job is arguably the least used, but it doesn't gate me from content. I enjoy it, and I like excelling at it. There will be a role for both PLD/WAR.

Some, if not a lot of people, enjoy playing the classes they can be most useful with rather than the class that they enjoy the rotation on; Especially if you're in a progression group.

I've been MRD/WAR from the start of 2.0 Havent had issues yet. Didnt like the style of the GLA/PLD. Its all about learning how to play your class.

Won't really know until the patch is out, but I doubt they'd make it so unbalanced that WAR makes PLD obsolete or something.

In an absolute sense, no, we will not know until many months after 2.1 drops. However, theorycraft suggests that the two will be balanced.
