This thread and the sentiments expressed by the OP are certainly "new and exciting", aren't they?Population after this months subsciption is going to dramatically drop, So at 17th december 2.1 patch arrives. Everyone that's saying the content is going backwards IS saying the TRUTH. They will enjoy as much(Including me) as they can the first week before their subscription ends, get a taste of it , see that its new and exciting but other than that nothing else 10 days is more than enought to explore all new content that 2.1 brings. I hate to say it but the people who maybe leaving the game will be a LARGE number.
Step up your game, OP. Otherwise a LARGE number of people will continue to laugh and shake their heads at your predictions of doom.
I'm just saying, its easy to say that you don't believe someone and contest something but not as easy to provide the factual basis as to why. You may not have said population decline but you sound like you support the assessment which is why I said that. When it comes to 5% on coil, I think it may have been a note as to how many people have beaten it or how many have gotten to turn 5? Probably not 5% in coil.
Rather the first patch fill all the holes than one later on after more things got released.
Had he said coil, sure, but he stated "Endgame". I don't know about you, but I consider running HM primals, and running the weekly AK/WP for myths part of end-game. You honestly are going to expect me to believe just 5% are doing that? If someone says Yoshi claimed something silly like that, totally not unreasonable to ask for a source. Just calling it out as I see it.I'm just saying, its easy to say that you don't believe someone and contest something but not as easy to provide the factual basis as to why. There's other things besides just turn 5 in Coil.
I like your sig.
Not if you ask those who call themselves "hardcore raiders", most of which haven't even seen turn 5 let alone cleared it. But they'll come on here and puff out their chests and proclaim themselves "hardcore" whatever the flip that even means.
OP you truly are the most original and beautiful of all the doomsayer snowflakes. This is the thread that finally convinced me. It was you with your well thought out points and clear and concise logic where you laid out the reason the game will fail. My favorite part is how you didn't make any sweeping statements and generalizations to make your point! Where the dozens of other doomsayer threads fell short it was your post that finally did it. Great Job.
Personally, I am looking forward to the patch, and not necessarily for any kind of end game content. I can't wait for both the FC housing and the Treasure Hunting content. This casual content is just as needed in the game as any kind of end game content, which as people say, not everyone is getting past. I will enjoy the Hard Mode dungeons, if for no other reason than it is going to be cool to see new areas of dungeons we have already run. I will probably take on the challenge of EM primals and the CT just for the experience. I could care less about the lock outs too really because by now I only need 3 pieces of i90 gear to be completely decked out so I will likely still be spamming these encounters to supplement my drops from the Coil just in the meantime, or to start decking out my alternate white mage. I'll run the CT all week and on the last day I will do enough runs until I see something I want to loot on and then be right back at the reset.
