FF got games on xbox 360 why are they not. Destructing there matchmaking ?

Until microsoft changes their stance on cross platform play, FFXIV will never be on the XBOX One. And SE isn't going to go backwards and port to the 360, it has lower specs than the PS3 and the PS3 can barely handle this game as it is.

The duty finder doesn't really suck imo. The problem with the DF isn't the DF, it's the players. If a tank isn't que for Halatali at level 20 then of course 50 people in the que for it will be waiting until 1 tank joins for each group. It's the Design of the game, the 3 role meta (healer, tank, dps), and player choices causing the Duty Finder to take so long.

And Imo, so be it. The Duty Finder is a luxury, not a necessity. If you want to run halatali or {Insert Dungeon Here} and you are a dps, find a tank on your server to que with you. Can't find one, except it and run it later.

Xbox 360 could barely even handle XI, and it was based around the PS2 ffs. Pretty sure it would just burst into flames if you tried to run XIV on it.

CoD matchmaking isn't trying to fill specific roles it just matches people based on rank etc. It's a lot simpler dividing 100 people into say teams of 4 random people than 100 people into teams of 1tank 1 healer 2 DPS. 100 people select a CoD map and it's easy to just divide them up and go. Not so easy for an FFXIV instance. 100 people is 25 groups but there may only be 10 tanks queued so 60 people (20 more partial groups) are waiting for a tank. What are the odds 20 straight tanks queue up? The Xbox system wouldn't change this.

Honestly I see more bad PC Players than I do PS3 players. At least PS3 has a standard controller and interface OOTB. With PC there are so many ways to configure how you play that I've seen a healer tell me....

"I use the numpad to play, my abilities are bound to ., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and I use 0 as a modifer. I turn my camera with the mouse, and move with the arrow keys."

Meaning this healer could not navigate and cast stuff at the same time. They had to take their hand off the mouse to use abilities. Was constantly screwing up.

I've seen some HORRIBLE PC players.

But a good PC Player on a Power House of a PC is worth more than an equivalent skilled PS3 player imo, simply due to the performance gain.

Se could make the DF a lot better if they let all the 4 mans have 8 people.

E.g. they should let 1 tank, 1 healer, and 6 DPS join the group but make a global debuff on the group so that the dmg is the same with 6 dps as it would be with 2.

E.g. if you go in and get 1 tank, 1 healer, and 3 dps, then their would be a 33% reduced dmg debuff on the group, 4 DPS and it would be 50% reduced dmg, etc.

Not this old argument again. Though with a new spin for me, I didnt realize I as the PC player cannot play properly due to mouse and button issues. But seriously, not this again.

And it has been confirmed that SE will not be doing this game on Xbox for any reasons. They dont like the way Microsoft handles their shit. And neither do I. Bravo SE for taking a stand on something decent at least.

No the duty finder system sucks. All i was saying. Sorry if confused people. If seen over the last 5 years on mmos and games in general they been using the xbox live matchmaking system from halo 2. Yet improved 10 folds.

Please list the persistent world MMORPG's (Not MMOBA's) that you've played using xbox live to build groups.
