People complain about too much content? man if you have one post of that on the entire interwebz i would love to see it...
Dude, people were bitching about not being able to speedrun any dungeons, it's all over these forums. You put a bunch of end game dungeons with a bunch of trash mobs, people will be bitching.
The $15 ($10 if you're Legacy) Final Fantasy XIV Monthly Bill grants you access to the following:
Unlimited Access to Mindless Leveling
Access to all dungeons (this is dependent on your class level)
Access to entire map to explore Eorzea
Access to Linkshell and Free Company Resources
Unlimited Tomes of Philosophy
Dead starting areas if you are just starting out in this game or leveling a new class
Weekly Tomes of Mythology*
Weekly Coil of Bahamut**
RMT Bots that spam you randomly everywhere
Super long queue times if you do not play a Tank class
Game-breaking Odin and Behemoth FATE Events (literally!)
*Monthly Tomes of Mythology is limited to approximately 1200 each month with a 300 weekly Tomes of Mythology Cap.
**Each Coil of the Bahamut Turn is limited to a one-time only instance upon completion each week.
That seems to be what your monthly fee gets you each month. Whether or not you are getting full value for what you pay for is entirely up to you, however. hehe :3
LOL, "trash mobs"" is not content...they are talking story line, progression, working hard for a weapon...that's content. trash mobs is not content. I feel for you white knoghts though if you think the "Demon Wall" is end game.
If there are enough content to do 7 days of raiding it's going to have a lot of trash, and people always complain about trash.
And if Blizzard, SoE, and everyone else got together to design a 100 boss rush raid dungeon that has no trash, people would complain about how the first 90 bosses are equivalent of trash (assuming the loot drop quality increases toward the end) because it's junk you don't need.
I just wish I had your free time, capping tomes in 1 day? Rly?
Do you realise that is stuff you can do, you know, outside?
I am the five percent. :3
I am busy with school all week. Then i have obligations and social events on the weekends. I scramble to reach my cap every week.
While the content of this game is certainly a bit lacking in quantity, I can't think of a MMORPG where it took more than one day to do relevent raid content on farm outside of logistical reasons (e.g. stuff respawned on different days so you've no possibility of finishing it in one day) or political reasons (you only need the top tier, but to keep the peons in the guild happy you got to do some lesser content).
If all these "monday" people have so little creativity that they can't think of something to do besides what they're told in the game, then I thank those people for paying so that I can have fun all week.
