Long time no read.
I just defeated Titan for the first time after...5 attempts with the DF.
Only a few fights away from my Relic weapon.

I just beat Titan as a WHM to get Thyrus... in duty finder... on my very first attempt as that class. (Rogue was, like, "whatever*". >_> )
Looks like the finder is getting better at that fight.
*Well, I guess she had beaten him dozens of times by now and gotten 7/8 relics so far...
Congratulations!
I'm going to hold out and try my first Titan in 2.1 with the 'latency fix' or what not... I'm too scared! Hehe.
Yhan, the White Viper.
Meh.. I've only capped Myth tomes once, and I've been mainly playing my 2 jobs that were already 50 in 1.0 .. Been too busy helping others get stuff done
There's actually quite a few EU players on Balmung. Haven't seen many EU coil groups yet, but I'm trying to get something going with an NA friend to run on friday and/or saturday, starting at around 22:00 CET. We're only 4 so far and will probably wait until Crystal Tower and do that before coil though.

I want a link to the 'official' 2.1 patch notes :/
Unfortunately the patch notes haven't been released yet. They usually get released on "patch day" (near the end of the scheduled maintenance). The best thing you can do is wat for the next Live Letter in which Yoshida will talk about things like: the Wolves Den (PvP), the beast tribe (daily) quests, treasure hunting, the PS4 version and some miscellaneous announcements.
If you want to know more about (f.i.) the Crystal Tower, please check the previous Live Letter, the Crystal Tower ans "Lighthouse" articles they posted on the front page of Lodestone. A lot of information has been posted there already. (^_^ )
Credit goes to Niqo'te for her fabulous art in the "Nique's happy fun time!"-thread and Nix/Capa for the Caitlyn drawing to the right. \(^_^ )/
Give her your support by liking their art!
it's the eyes that would give away my elaborate rouse, one look and you'd notice they are as round as a full moon :3Hahah, that one threw me...a mooncat with a warm color palette! No need to do any editing if nothing quite fits, since we all gotta do our own thing. But, it's nice to run into someone with a similar original name.
I sort of stumbled into the name "Mahri" -- I wanted something with that vowel sound, and by chance happened upon the name Sulaiman al-Mahri, who was a 15th century Arab Navigator. I rolled with that, and naturally, Llymlaen was the logical choice for a patron, and this character here has a bit of an Arabic look about her, so.
Not a super-elaborate backstory, but she's a bit older than your average FF character (she'd have to be like, the experienced Sazh or Auron type), has a few kids who are being raised collectively in her home village, which seems about right for suncat customs. She has extraordinary admiration for her father and a great deal of pride in where she comes from. However, she'll just as gladly go by "Anzu", her given name. The S' is the tribal honorific (though there's a bit of wordplay with the tribal name and her given name...but only noticeable by nerds for Mesopotamian mythology).
Likes: Science, maps, tea, hard liquor, heavy things, good people.
Hates: Awkward social expectations, people who don't practice what they preach, excessively loud things, being touched in the belly without warning (caution, will bite, twitchy cat)
My characters name comes from her original FFXIV 1.0 name (with he secret addition of a middle name :3): Aluendalee (Maria) Kor, which I then shortened to Aluena Marie, add a little Miqo'te flare and bam: Aluena Mahri
but to note my characters name would be a good Seeker of the Sun name as well: A'luena Mahri <-- done :3

~~Thank You Niqo'te
The thing with miqo'te irises actually makes me think: This is obviously a stylistic thing, but if they work at all like normal eyes (normal cat's eyes, for that matter) they'll always dilate widely like that in the dark, and always narrow to slits in the light.it's the eyes that would give away my elaborate rouse, one look and you'd notice they are as round as a full moon :3

Having eyes set like that permanently would make it really painful for mooncats to wander into sunlight, and suncats would be completely unable to see in the dark. So, I figure, it can be assumed that both tribes' eyes dilate that way, but showing them in different states is a nice little bit of visual flair to show their respectively nocturnal and diurnal natures.
Back then I used the player search and it didn't give me a result :<
@ Crim: Ok! But I don't know when I'll be online again. The christmas party of the company I work at is on Friday. So maybe Saturday at last ^^
Btw: I didn't get the sentence right under the "playtest of game.." @.@
@Millerna:
Are you trying to lure my favourite Lala-MNK on your server? O.O!
