Will crystal tower have a week lock or not?

WTF is the Reset time? If its 24hrs that's going to be bull....

I hope people don't leave once they receive their first piece of loot.

I will leave if there is going to be a lock out on lotting. If there is a lock out for more than 30mins or w/e on lotting then there would be no incentive to complete a full run of CT unless Myth tomes drop there.

I will leave if there is going to be a lock out on lotting. If there is a lock out for more than 30mins or w/e on lotting then there would be no incentive to complete a full run of CT unless Myth tomes drop there.

Its been confirmed both Philo and Myth drop in CT. He even hinted at the new Tomestone from 2.2 being added there in 2.2

Well, I can't really answer that question since they haven't provided any actually information.

The only two options I see are:
1. Getting a piece of gear from Crystal Tower is character locked (Example: You can only get loot once in CT regardless of job, have to wait until reset to get another peice).
2. Getting a piece of gear from Crystal Tower is job locked (Example: You can only get loot once per job you join CT with, if you want more switch jobs or wait for reset)

Which do you think SE is going to do based on the previous content that's in place? Probably option 1.

As for timer reset? Probably a week like coil, but honestly no one knows since they haven't provided any information on this. They'll either mention it in the next Live Letter on the 12/14 or on the actually release details when the patch hits (believe it's 12/17, someone can correct me on that.).

Gear drop lock is great. So everyone can only get 1 piece i80 gear. That is a good design. It won't crush economy.

First of all. This is SE, consider yourself lucky if it's a 24hr lockout. Secondly, some might find the incentive of not being a douchebag by completing the full run.

It's already been stated you get philo and myth. It was the in the SAME dev letter.

People are already trying T5 in full ilvl 90 gears and still can't beat it.

A couple of FC in Behemoth beaten it. Anyways this is great to replace the level 70 equips to go along with the level 90. It'll make Turn 1, 2, 4, much easier.
