I play my monk only on ps3. And I do far more than stand in front of a monster hitting a 3 hit combo for the majority of any encounter.Cool, go ahead and main tank coil on ps3, then you tell me how hard it was. The point of this thread is this, ps3 has its challenges as far as processing.. Loading etc.. Coil itself was not the challenge, but trying to get around the mechanics with such a slow ps3 processor.
And I have no issues. You just want to feel better for doing something that isnt a big deal.
I said TANKING.. Not dps.. Go ahead give it a shot then get back to me.

You have one job. Stand there and gain hate while facing twintania away from the party. Occasionally you deal with liquid hell. This isnt an accomplishment. Grats on beating turn 5. But trying to gain kudos for doing it on PS3 is no different than people not wanting to take ps3 pllayers to instances. Youre trying to say its harder when it isnt. DPS actually do a lot more than the main tank especially melee, in pretty much any encounter even more so in turn 5. You do your job and soak up heals. Its clear that you think this is something special. But it isnt.
Well to be fair its not like your dps takes some high iq level to do either. DPS has more steps to do their job but you don't have the success or failure of a run on your shoulders 90% of the time like tanks and healers doYou have one job. No I understand what comes with being a tank and a healer in encounters. Im just saying the main issues of turn 5 that you could even excuse for playing on ps3 arent even present as the main tank. What hes looking for is for someone to agree tanking on ps3 and pc are different when they come with the same exact thing. Especially considering both pc and ps3 can use a controller.
I just wanted to show that even with our ps3 limitations we can still do endgame content.. I didnt asked for kudos.. Props etc.. And this post was aimed for tanks on ps3.. I dont even know why you still going at it.No I understand what comes with being a tank and a healer in encounters. I understand what you are saying 100%, now understand what im trying to say man.. Tanking and dpsing content it's not the same.. Sure you make it sound like all tanks do is a 3 hit combo and keep twintania locked right? Must be that easy.. Now the challenge comes, from doing it on a ps3 thats all im saying.. Again.. If it's so easy and nothing special, then by all means, please tank all coils and then you tell me how easy it was.
