Is selling 27.5k lightning shards on Market board a normal thing?

No, it's generally not normal to see that large of a stack(s) being put up for sale. We have the same problem on my server (Siren) with lightning shards as well. I've even found the bot that farms the shards right outside of Ala Mhigo. It was a while back (about 2 weeks ago) but he was there 24/7. Didn't matter what time of day or night or morning I went or how long I stayed, he just kept going like the energizer bunny, day after day after day. lol...

There is a 99.999999999% chance that he is botter, you have to be literally out of your mind to do that manually, and I mean literally. However, there's really nothing you can do to prove it unless you record him teleport hacking or something like that.

I have a hunch that stopping the flow of real money from the US market into poor Asian hands is a low priority.I do not know for sure, but I have a hunch that their is not near the level of gil seller/ bot activity on JP servers.

Before the XP boost to DoH leves me and a friend probably mined 2000+ cobalt ore in a day or soto get my miner from 40 - 50. I'm not saying the guy in the OP isn't a botter but please don't underestimate how much spare time some people have.

Wow, I remember running across someone who told me they had been playing for 24+ hours farming for diremite webs. I was shocked.

Regular Diremite isn't that hard to come across actually.
There's a few good spots where 7+ spawn every minute or so. It's almost continuous spawning and regular drops.

2 Weeks ago I sold over 65.ooo Wind Shards on Market Board.... I am not a RMT, i was just buying all the Shards for 5gil from Market Board, and put them back in 1.000 stacks for 30g/each

Now you tell me you can only have 9999 shards?

9999 + 2 retainers = 3 x 9999 = 29997 Shards

Now you sell 1k stacks on Market board and fill out your 20 spots

20 * 1000 = 20k shards per retainer selling

20k x 2 = 40.000 + 29997 = 69997 shards selling

Not everyone is an RMT selling shards, and its good that SE is not banning people completly blind
