Paladins want a dmg Aura

Someone rolled a Paladin and is now butt hurt it's not a carbon copy of the one in World of Warcraft.

Both of these paladins can use a sword and shield, wear plate, can tank. The similarities stop there, next time pay attention to your quests and class text/background.

I'm not agreeing with the OP at all but I don't think he meant aura, I think he meant buff, like making sword oath make you do more damage (not just the a/a bonus).

I don't recall any of wow-pld's auras increasing damage done, other than retribution aura (which was a small amount of damage reflected to the attacker hitting anyone effected by the aura).

That said, I miss XI's spike spells.

now im a lazy tank because i want something different besides flash? Spamming flash is real easy and real boring and its on global cooldown. I would rather have some other aoe that generates threat and allows me to use other skills while i use it even something like lowering Circle of scorn cooldown to 15 secs and giving it hate generation per tick. Its not an easy mode button , not asking for 100% hate . Flash is the easy mode button but its plain stupid and boring. And the wow people can stop comparing everything to wow its lame.

Spam flash, get a 5 target cleave, a off CD Thunderclap with bleed or Ground AoE DoT it is all the same cause at the end of the day all produces the same result. So what if Flash was put into off GCD? Does it suddenly appear more interesting? I highly doubt it.

yes because you could actually be using atack chains and flash inbetween instead of being a target dummy that just stands there most the time

I don't really understand this, I only flash spam on speed runs and the mobs die by the time I run out of mana so who cares about getting a RoH combo in there? If it's not a speed run why would you be spamming flash?

Nothing wrong with a tank who wants more damage. A tank who wants an easy-mode AoE threat on everything though? Yeah GTFO.
