Crafting leves are separate, so why not harvesting?

i don't think its necessary. Harvesting leves give -huge- sp bonuses and with abilities that double your sp you can easily be getting 1500 sp per "log". So i think what they have now is fine. Only thing i'd like to see is maybe -ONE- more ;eve per week at each rank in each area.

You gotta be kidding me. Gathering leves do not scale with your rank, sure they are amazing when you first get them but once you start reaching the highest rank for that cap it seriously diminishes. For instance a rank 34 doing rank 30 leves gets about 1/4 the sp you will get at rank 35 doing 40s. Once you outgrow those rank 40 leves theres nothing higher, it just get worse and worse. 40+ is a nightmare

Your talking about Sweat of brow to double SP (a Botany exclusive) and its not like its up all the time. If your lucky you can get sweat of brow with aspect up and get that log then yes its usually a lot of sp. If your in those difficult ranks then its still only going to be around 900 sp "per log" which is only 3 items with aspect not affecting any of the other items you obtain on that leve. If you dont have sweat of brow up then its often 300-500 sp per log WITH aspect.

So often times im getting 3k per leve plus maybe another 1k for the other random items I can get? Compare that to something like dunesfolk for dinner where people can get 15-20k on one leve. The logging point leve has no chance for the high sp item ones but aspect counts toward every item obtained, which is often 150-250 per strike depending on if your high rank compared to your camp.

Theres also the fact that its ONE camp per city with only 2 leves, not 3. So if you want to do all 6 leves possible for your rank you have to waste time teleporting to every city and running out to every rank 40 camp.

If you get around 6k per camp which is close to what I get then thats maybe 1/6 or even less than what battle classes would get for level linking in a group for a camp. I dont even think I can get the same sp doing 6 leves than a decent leve link with dunesfolk.

I just hit 40 on my botanist and it was much harder to obtain than any of my 50s, crafting or battle.
