And a nice "fix" for the blm...... Why when they buff a class do they have to tear down another?

because unlike the black mage which only brings damage to a fight, the bard brings great and mobile damage, lots of utility(songs) and cc, when you factor in all these aspects you can tell why bard is getting a nerf, because they simply bring to much to a fight...
Theres no other class which can dps 100% of the time in any fight, while buffing its party and CC'ing has required.

BLM is a glass cannon and they have no other utility, they are not meant to do the same dps as everyone else. They just stand still and shoot.
Oh really? Interesting. Last I checked we took a 20% dps loss for playing songs in battle, or don't you actually read the abilities?? CC?? You mean bind? (CC is crowd control) because shadowbind is so useful!because unlike the black mage which only brings damage to a fight, the bard brings great and mobile damage, lots of utility(songs) and cc, when you factor in all these aspects you can tell why bard is getting a nerf, because they simply bring to much to a fight...

sorry to say but if silence which is required in coil doesnt count has CC, well then you should l2p or at least learn the definition of cc.... also if you are casting songs, your helping your party, providing them support, while still dpsing... so you can sing a song, dps and CC all at same time with no downtime at all... the combination of all this is what makes the bard to good... but then again why do i even bother answering you, trolls always believe that which is more convenient to them.

BLM: STR/DEX reduction (Virus), Slow (Lethargy), Bind (Freeze, Blizzard2), Heavy (Lethargy, Blizzard), Elemental damage resistance (Apocatastasis), Heal (Physick), Damage reduction on hit (Eye for an Eye)
DRG: Slow (Feint, Haymaker), Stun (Leg Sweep, Spineshatter), Piercing damage increase (Disembowel, additional damage limited to BRD and other DRG), 5% healing increase (Mantra)
//EDIT: Forgot one.
Clearly our definition of crowd control differ from mine, silence is a support move not a cc move... period. It has nothing to do with believing anything, I am correcting you in your misconception. Telling me I need to l2p because you think you know everything shows what a real dumb ass you are.sorry to say but if silence which is required in coil doesnt count has CC, well then you should l2p or at least learn the definition of cc.... also if you are casting songs, your helping your party, providing them support, while still dpsing... so you can sing a song, dps and CC all at same time with no downtime at all... the combination of all this is what makes the bard to good... but then again why do i even bother answering you, trolls always believe that which is more convenient to them.
So Virus and EfaE do not bring anything extra on bosses?

Even in MOBAs silence is considered a CC...
@Warthahahahain (sorry had this pun in my head)
You are right about the Multi tasking Bard but if they had to remove some strength from us at least I wish they would add some kind of versatility to our support.
I mean, heck, our Job master had a damn micro hp regen and attack damage song... why not us ? T_T

SMN is better than BLM imo. They bring much more utility to the group while still being a strong ranged caster.
