Paladins want a dmg Aura

Wait.. I took half a day off to study, half a day to take an exam and half a day searching for a PT and clearing Coil 5 cause I finally resubbed and suddenly I got an idol? or I have a fan? I really am confused now. Sides I make mistakes I'm human afterall, why is everyone in knots. Sides I did say doing Coil as a Warrior is just Silly/Masochistic/Handicap mode not Hardmode, nor was Paladin easy mode. Oh well yeah it is sorta easy but a well timed CD Paladin still beats a stand there and be a whack a mole paladin.

So now we have faction wars? To me I see it really simple, I'm just a tank neither a Paladin nor a Warrior, I just do whatever it takes to make my group get through stuff with the least amount of agony. Cause you know there is no reason to attempt stuff in hours end agony when you can just swap a class. If your motto is to play a warrior and suffer all it's handicap that is your "Normal" play, if you choose to be do it with Paladin just cause they have it easier that is your "Normal" play. And if you are those that stick to your class if things are balanced that is your "Normal" play. And I choose to progress with Paladin cause to tank and get over with stuff is my "Normal" play.

Do not expect people to recognize you as "Hardcore" just cause you bite through the handicap. I wasn't born rich therefore my life is "Hardcore".... silly isn't it? I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I could live the "easy" life by spending "normally" but I think I'll just spend it all so I can start living "hardcore". Is... also a "normal" choice many people make. Buddha is one of them make no mistake...

@OP: Pretty sure I never asked or even considered wanting an ability like what your suggesting. Schematics aside, what your asking for doesn't really make alot of sense. Why? Well for starters CoS is already a free damaging AoE you can keep up 2/3 of the time, in FFXIV damage = hate, so even if your not doing massive damage you're doing consistent damage that does add up. Secondly you dismiss the benefits of Flash and that's mainly it's snap aggro ability and it's secondary ability of Blind which on multiple mobs can reduce the amount of damage you take and in turn lessen the hate healers build up.

If we ended up going with your suggestion we either get an underpowered enmity builder with no AoE snap aggro capability, or it's so OP nobody will be able to pull hate off you which makes the game too easy. You also have to consider the secondary effects it has on WAR as Flash has it's uses on that job as well.

Edit: The whole "normal" and "hard" nonsense has been perpetuated by WAR players who feel the need to justify what they've had to deal with. Oh...tanking this is harder...well that is because the class I play is harder and because of this, I am better skilled than anyone playing Paladin.
I get baffled when people identify themselves by class, rather than role. I play a tank, thusly I am a tnk. I use Paladin because that is what is good to use for the encounter, WAR if it is not necessary.

I have the question book for N3 but I know I couldn't pass it. My vocabulary is weak but I know many readings and can figure out sentences if I know the words. So I use it where I can and take corrections if it's wrong

It'll give a link to books you can buy but it doesn't really tell you where to start from scratch. It's just the format of the test so you get used to what kinds of questions you can expect to see and what level of understanding you require to be successful. Although, since I had already taken classes I have Genki II and Basic Kanji book vol II. That's probably the most expensive route though. You can attempt to find some Japanese speaking people and just throw yourself into the fire in terms of learning. Anime is not so great because they use a speaking style that you shouldn't really use with people you don't know and definitely not with anyone who's older than you (unless you're a rude person).

I'm just here to defend the usage of DMG as a proper replacement for damage against people who actually wants to start typing Paladin instead of PLD for some silly reason.

Same with using lvl instead of Level among so many other terms (HP, MP, DD, DoT, Enfs, Enh, etc. etc.)

After all I fight for freedom and RDM/nin/dnc/war/blm/sch/whm/etc. soloing. :P

謙譲語and尊敬語 (Individually, Humility "Kenjou" speaking and respectful "sonkei" speaking. Both are rarely used now in Japan and as my Japanese friend states that almost 80% of the youngsters do not use or incapable of using it.)

The above style of speaking is only used in service industry, interviews and addressing important customer or someone who is elderly and superior in position. The thing about anime is that you are suppose to learn Vocabulary and your capability to catch phases, Grammatically it is not complete. However, talking as such in normal conversation is acceptable cause most of the core of the sentence is expressed.

Don't expect Japanese learning books to come cheap though. For starters alot of people recommend getting "Minna no Nihongo" literal translation as Everyone's Japanese Language, you have to buy the main text which is all in Japanese and another book which is the Translation of the main text. Some people want to learn Kanji so they go for the Kanji learning workbooks, myself due to having Mandarin (Modern and Traditional) as a fallback need not study those anymore.

The 2 months I've been playing with the Japanese crowd really helped me in reading things really fast and there are always words that will come out so often it will stick to you. However, the main problem with Japanese games is that most of the games have a lot of Katakana direct English translation. ドラムギメラ read as Doramugimera is Dhorme Chimera. And they don't call Paladin パラジン but ナイト "Knight".

Well enough of derails. This thread is a unanimous NO, having higher piety and Riot Blade allows for the Paladin to fulfill his AoE threat role, Circle of Scorn is just a DPS icing.
