    It better not... That would mean the previous gear would be destroyed and you would have to find a new set every time you wanted to change your look. Also how would that work with holiday items? Say I used my lightning set, then changed the set to something else, then wanted to change it back to lightning? I wouldn't because my gear is gone...

    SE just go with slot's it'll be a lot better.

    Well, considering they've already specifically said they're not doing extra slots, I doubt it's very likely.

    Pretty much this. However it's still possible they can make it NOT consume the source item for the look, could just copy it over. We honestly don't know yet.
