    The message is unclear. looking at the numbers involved, it looks like only the sellers are punished. not buyers. Numbers of buyers would be way way higher than the 4000+ accounts reported by SE

    That was when some SE auto script suspended all of the richest players on non-legacy servers for 1 week, then returned them to game with their gil divided by 100.

    They may have caught some gil sellers mules etc, but they screwed many legit players.
