Toon Town.
It's actually called a "Character"
an Avatar is like an icon which is our
photo's on the side, it's an Avatar/Icon of our character.
But that's beside the point.
TOON DANGIT!!!
Avatar can refer to an alternative persona just as character can. Your definition specifically refers to images below our names on forums.
Anyway... "cancel automatic renewal" below your account info on the "Account services" section of the mog station. It's pretty hard to miss honestly... I found the button in under 1 minute not knowing exactly where it was either.
As others said though, canceling sub with a major content update coming up soon is a bit silly.
Tell me though:
You have all jobs crafts and gathers lv50?
you have cleared coil turn 5?
you have a full set of lv90 gear?
you have millions of gil?
If not, you've still got tons of things to do even ignoring the content patch coming in 2 weeks.
I'm not sure how repeating the same quests is any more fun than doing the same dungeons or doing the same fates or killing the same monsters, but every MMO has some kind of a grind in it, if you can't take that than MMOs are not for you- not this one or any other. If you were smart, you would work it out to where all the quests you've done reset when you change classes and start leveling another.

1. Not everyone likes leveling everything and is actually the last thing you'd realistically want to try to sell someone on staying because that admits a lack of things to do :x
2. Have you? According to the forums no one does End-game. (Not joking either, whenever someone brings up coil as an end point for content people say only a handful actually do it.)
3. Do you? (Not sure what this point is..? Full i90 means either grinding for months or spamming the hell out of coil..aka more grinding which can turn some people off if it's pretty bad.)
4. What does obtaining millions of gil have to do...with anything? I don't unlock content by having millions of gil xD.
Something to do is something to do. Whether it's something you like to do is up to the person in question.1. Not everyone likes leveling everything and is actually the last thing you'd realistically want to try to sell someone on staying because that admits a lack of things to do :x

There IS plenty to do in the game, there are somethings that aren't his taste which is fine.
Even the guy who made this game said the game really starts once you've finished leveling, which is why he made it so you can progress through with Quests or FATE spam or the Main storyline (basically to push you into actual content.) If you play the semantics card, you going into an Inn and talking to your retainer constitutes as "something to do" lol.
Hate to break it to you but THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN THIS GAME. Some players have done everything in the game period. There is nothing to do in the open world it is stagnant, Leve's are useless to level 50's, fates are useless to a level 50, dungeons are linear and boring that you just want to get them done asap. Log in to do coil and thats it. This isnt much of a game and btw this is a remake and they should have had more content but they dropped the ball on that.
If there wasn't anything to do, I wouldn't be in the game having soo much fun because there is plenty to do.
It's just something you "don't" wanna do. Which again is fine.
Some people say there is nothing to do, and yet they continue on playing like that comment never existed. /shrug
Personally, I don't just stop at 1 level 50. I level up my other classes.
Quite honestly, in all MMORPG advertisements and word of mouth I've seen and been apart of, I can quite honestly say I've never been told:
"Hey, wanna try out this new MMO? You have so much you can level! Done with Dungeons? LEVEL! Done with Storylines and all available quests? LEVEL!"
Normally when you hear about all the things to do in an MMORPG, leveling isn't generally part of that equation as leveling is a means to an end and even Yoshida has said leveling is something he considers more of a tutorial than activity, which is why they rocket us to end-game. I don't know about you..but after I get my first tutorial of the game I don't need to relive it 8+ more times just to "have something to do", i'd rather be able to raid or do solid dungeons as something to do. So again, it's not that it's something "you don't wanna do", it's the simple fact stating that leveling is considered content is kind of...bad.

No there isn't. And people defending it and saying YES THERE IS STUFF TO DO ITS PERFECT AND ITS FUN!!! is only hurting the game instead of helping it. There are plenty of people who have done literally everything..and when the only "difficult" end game content has lock outs and limits...yeah people get bored and quit. This game needs more content plain and simple. We have to be patient though >.<Hate to break it to you but THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN THIS GAME. Some players have done everything in the game period.
