Paladins want a dmg Aura

Only aura that would be reasonable to have is something like Retribution aura from WoW, does lol damage but gives some extra dps/enmity on big pulls or Cleave like cone attack that hits 3 targets for low/medium damage or something like that. Having a passive enmity aura would just make PLD tanking even more nobrainer than it currently is.

Thank you Troll, everyone who plays MMO's knows what dmg stands for and they know what a dmg aura is.

I think he is suggesting a skill that literally allows him to just stand there and auto tank mobs, pressing buttons isn't all it's hyped up to be.

Me thinks this guy was playing Prot Pally, WoW reference, back in the day when you could literally drop one spell similar to Circle of Scorn except it did damage over like 15s and was essentially "auto aggro".

Was a talent and is practically useless until Burning Crusade. =P Cause who brings a Paladin Tank back those days, they are just there to provide Aura, Seal judge... wait that wasn't changed yet... Oh yeah... They were Aura bots and OOC Ress bots.

I'm a Paladin and I want NO dmg/damage aura at all!

What I as Paladin want is to have some of my abilities off of global cooldown like Shield Swipe and a rework of abilities like Tempered Will.

That only worked for outdoor bosses. And got hot fix the next day after the video was posted. This is why when you give slightly nice things to theorycrafters they fling poop back at devs. Of all the theorycrafters in WoW Paladin and Shamans had the best Theorycrafting community. Hence why we keep getting nerfed again and again. Only expansion Shaman Community didn't screw with Blizzard was probably Mist of Pandaria cause there was nothing more to exploit to generalization of classes and mechanics.

But with Warlord of Draenor incoming and new secondary stats. Blizzard is asking for it again.

I think the only thing I can really agree with here is that spamming Flash for enmity is kind of a boring mechanic since the debuff DRs out fast and the spell doesn't do anything else except create threat.

That's not a critical design issue though and some crappy thorns or consecrate like skill certainly isn't the way to make things more interesting.
