likely also depends on if you get a nice GM, or one that strictly 100% follows the policyGreetings everyone. Some of you probably remember me attempting the item restore policy while already being 3 months since the fantasia was used. I am happy to say that as of today I just got the Fantasia on the mail from the GMs. It took only 1 week as opposed to some people experiencing 2 weeks of wait.
This confirms that the 10 day restriction is indeed not necessary and that the fantasia can be restored no matter how much time has passed since its consumption. I will be carefully and patiently playing around with several alts to make extremely sure that I make no mistakes with the fantasia.
Anyone not wanting to wait for fantasia to be implemented months from now can try their hand at the item restore policy. I followed the instructions provided by other people provided earlier on this thread and it worked perfectly.

Unfortunately that is incorrect. The quote was probably modified to mess with people. A direct response from them overrides speculation on some forum page.
Oh yeah they were specific. I asked specifically if they were considering it. The following was their reason for the "no". At least they gave a reason. Apparently the blacklist system is very specific on names, not accounts. So all someone has to do is change their name even slightly and they can continue harassing you. This is why I wish the blacklist was account specific and not name specific. And it is possible. In every other MMO I play, if you block someone, you block them regardless of what character they are on XDThey clearly didn't answer you on this one sorry, they've never said they WOULDN'T. Just that they'd have to consider it very carefully due to the nature of it. Bear in mind that GM's / Support Representatives aren't always 100% aware of future options and are usaully only aware/informed of the current options available, the response you received was most likely a 'Do we have this service available now?' answer.
"...The reason we will not be doing name changes is due to security concerns. However you are always more than welcome to create a new character."
However at least we're getting fashion slots eventually and I think that is awesomeThe fantasia being available is cool, also, but I am totally stoked about the fashion slots

If (strong emphasis on if, due to the email i got back) they did implement that, then they have a LOT of code they will have to completely re-write. it;s no small task. There's no point in implementing name changes if all you have to do is change your name to harass someone. Making ignore/blacklist account based would be the cure, but they;d have to completely re-write the entire system for that. Don't get me wrong, I am VERY much wanting a name change service because frankly no one can type, let alone pronounce my current name, so I am wanting to change it to something simpler for the common folks. However I can see where a lot of concerns over the current system where everything is character based and not account based for blacklist will become a concern - especially where stalkers are concerned.Umm no... if you seriously don't know how to go to the page itself and read it for yourself idk then.

Name change system is already ingame. 1.0 players were allowed to change their names during their reroll when starting the game. Also the lodestone sometimes had a note below players that said "Previously known as x character name". The functionality is definitely in there. If (strong emphasis on if, due to the email i got back) they did implement that, then they have a LOT of code they will have to completely re-write. it;s no small task.
