melee dps buffs + bard nerf = cumulative effect too much?

A DPS increase and DPS LB that aren't necessary at all.

The issue being that even with DRG and MNK having their damage increased, Coil is still currently doable with Bard stacking. Even on DPS checks, having a couple bards isn't detrimental. And those Bards have great utility/ease of play that's going to favor them over others. Reducing BRD DPS might possibly force some hands and encourage groups to take another heavier DPS instead of double BRD.

Bards are the safe option. They're not the best, but they're far more idiot proof than any other DPS class. And that means people are going to want them during their initial runs into Coil and in PUG groups.

EDIT: Enjoy your class? Clearly they are or they'd have jumped onto the FotM class already.
