You can predict this system will be dismissed but without any evidence, toting you "know" it's going away just so you can say you told us so later (don't pretend you won't) is a pretty weak way to wield an argument. You don't know anything the devs don't tell you (and the devs have said its working as intended, just fyi - though you know that already).

If it does go away, in a year, in eight years, whenever that is (and I'm sure no matter where you are or what you're doing you'll find your way back to this forum to gloat) I'm not going to think "Oh, old Peregrine told me so." I'm going to think you're an ignorant chode who rants and raves about "right" and "wrong" without understanding the concepts fundamentally.
