just going to drop this here. this is a garlean gunblade (gaius' maybe? i think officers use a shorter one). as you can see, it has a revolver setup, so maybe it could be a typical revolver setup, or you swap wheels (more expensive, but easier to reload).

maybe the wheel doesn't actually store bullets, rather a magitek core...just something to think about.
