When the Scions showed on the final cutscene, it draws more of a ??? from people than a "Ah wow that's awesome!" because ARR made us the super star, when it used to be about the characters in the story.

Remember Y'Shtola (sp) catching the battleaxe blade first in her hand? Or the Balsar fight where they all tag team him? I like a lot of ARR's story, but the supporting cast in V1 was better, totally.

But I do agree that the 1.0 storyline made the main npc's look much better. But my favorite part was the storyling after 1.0 when the entire meteor stuff began. Aka the introduction of the Grand companies up to Nael's defeat.

It placed the npc and our character in a equally perfect spotlight. 1.0 had Merlwyb being all badass which I've seen nothing of it during ARR. Mind you the 1.0 storyline before meteor was awful to me. I didn't like getting knocked out most of the time or just being the mute sidekick while the path companion did all the interacting and talking.
