Why can't ppl collect gear even if they don't necessarily use it as much as you do?? Maybe it looks good or something is enough a reason to try to get it.
You probably don't need gil too. Please give it to me.
And maybe they can wait till there's a nerf to do the content if they want it handed to them so much for looks. This isn't about myth gear and it's ease of access, it's about people feeling like they NEED the best gear with the best stats in the game when they have no intention of doing any challenging content. Who the hell cares if it looks good, if you want it go and get it. But do not come here and say how much you need the absolute best stats on a piece of gear or the highest ilvl if you have no intention of doing the content where this gear comes from.
If you actually read any of what I quoted from people you'd see that people aren't wanting the gear because of it's looks, they are wanting the gear because of it's stats and then directly after saying how much they NEED IT then go on to say they do not wish to do the content where the higher level gear would come from. The best gear is needed for the hardest content, if people do not want to do the content to get the best gear then they do not need the best gear.

These players don't want to be left behind gearwise. Their concern is totaly valuable as they might become the persons discriminated by the future players requirement i.e "Allagan Ilv95 weapons Only/EX Primals weapon only."
Obviously the "Iwannabehardcore" playerbase doesn't see it from the same angle, however is that a reason to be horrible to these casual players? no. don't feel concerned by this phrase as its more for the players posting 7-8 pages ago, which looks totaly retarted with their arguments full of "LOL/lmaooooooo" & I pass, players of today have nothing constructive to bring on the table.
Both types of currency are called allagan (allagan tomes of philosophy and allagan tomes of myth) so which currency can you get 95 IL gear with? Philosophy or myth?
Weapon A: Obtained by a completing a quest chain that takes you an evening to finish. A final fight that was beaten within just a few days of launch and is beatable by dis-organized pick-up groups wearing i60-i70 equipment. Upgradable by running the easiest level 50 dungeon in the entire game, beatable by duty finder groups with gear ranging from i1 to i50.
Weapon B: Obtained by beating the hardest level of the hardest dungeon in the game. A fight with various phases so difficult that the community actually thought it was bugged and impossible. A fight that took 3(?) months for the first group to defeat. A fight that even now, with instructional videos, in-depth knowledge of all the mechanics, and a nerf to the fights hardest gimmick, takes an average group of very well geared players at least 15 hours of practice to beat.
Which weapon should be better?
I believe there is no 100% correct answer to your question, given the fact that even the "Iwannabehardcore" playerbase would probably QQ if after 2-3 months this fight wasn't cleared by most ppl. Obviously B would be logical tho.Weapon A: Obtained by a completing a quest chain that takes you an evening to finish. But some players made fun of casual players for X or Y reason in this thread, these "Iwannabehardcore" players might turn to be the QQing players soon with what is coming the 17 Dec.

Allagan weapons should no doubt be better.
That doesn't mean that the Relic +1 should be dismissed. Also, the relic +1 is a time sink, plain and simple. The Allagan weapons, while also a time sink, are your reward for completing the hardest content in game to date. They should be better, without question.
While I believe it is right that Allagan should be more power, due to the difficulty to obtain, I do not believe SE would let the relic disappear, afterall, they are the "signature weapon of your class".
My wild guess would be they will make quests that let you upgrade your relic further so there is always a way to keep it almost on par with current highest raid tier weapons. That is just my guess though.
