BRDs will always be needed for songs, and silence, they are crucial to endgame and you usually need 2, so now it'll be 2 with less DPS potential.

Exactly! Really we are not mandatory but have 1 or 2 Bards, make the things pretty easier, and not for the damage but the utility... We will see what happens after the patch. I really hope that the people start to pick Dragoon and Monks for their coil groups, I always run coil with a Dragoon and his damage is amazing.

I think we have to wait for patch notes like the one they released for warriors to really judge their plans.
It has a good balance of support and dps as it is right now.
The issue being that even with DRG and MNK having their damage increased, Coil is still currently doable with Bard stacking. Even on DPS checks, having a couple bards isn't detrimental. And those Bards have great utility/ease of play that's going to favor them over others. Reducing BRD DPS might possibly force some hands and encourage groups to take another heavier DPS instead of double BRD.
